		<description>This book is ambitious in it&#039;s scope and pulls it off. It&#039;s perfect for the new internet marketer because it touches nearly every aspect of how money is made online. It&#039;s organized in such a way that it can serve as a quick reference for certain areas like running teleseminars or affiliate marketing or a dozen other areas. If you know you need to be making money online but don&#039;t know where to start, pick up this book for ideas and getting a survey of the landscape. You&#039;ll also get an up to date toolkit, listing the resources that the pros use. If you are already doing stuff online, this book can still be a useful resource unless you are razor focused in one area. In that case you&#039;re better off getting a specialty book or course in your area of interest.

&lt;br /&gt;6. Profiting from online broadcasting
&lt;br /&gt;7. PPC keyword &amp; affiliate program ad strategies
&lt;br /&gt;8. Your winning online marketing strategy

&lt;br /&gt;I don&#039;t think we needed to hear about PR, SEO, email publishing strategies, PPC, or affiliate program advertising. For the most part these things are not really effective, worth much, or something to talk about when trying to be helpful to a reader who wants to become adept at IM. IM is all about building an online presence or platform for its creator. It&#039;s all about building credibility and being recognized as an authority. These things I just mentioned don&#039;t do much for that.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;If you want to become savvy with IM, then focus on writing ebooks, books, and articles to build credibility and have something to sell. Focus on building a simple but good Web site as your online headquarters. And use blogs and microblogs to to let people (&amp; the search engines) know about your Web site (headquarters), ebooks, books, articles, programs, seminars, and workshops. It takes time to write. It takes time to build Web sites and post your articles and blog entries. But this is what IM is all about. And much of this is covered in the instant book. 4 stars!

		<description>060209: I flew through this book learning different ways to market on the internet but once I signed up for his free newsletter I noticed that within 24 hours I had a 100% increase in email (that is named after a potted meat) sitting in my email box.

&lt;br /&gt;The book is still worth the read!
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;060509:  I received an email from the author assuring me any increase in email (that is named after a potted meat) was an unfortunate coincidence and thanking me for his review.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;So I stand by my review of the book but take back the comment on increase in email (that is named after a potted meat)!
