    In all fairness the content of the book is good. However, I agree with the gentleman who also commented on the writing quality of the book: it is very poor. Throughout the book the reader will come across writing errors which are always very disturbing and some other times just do not allow for proper comprehension of what the author is trying to communicate.

    I would barely recommend it.

  2. While the content is very good, the writing is poor. On every page I encounter sentences that are poorly strucutred and vague, so I cannot extract the full meaning. The author owes it to the buyer and reader to get an editor who can fix these problems before marketing a book. I would not recommend this book.

  3. Now, let me be honest, I am a skeptic of any “secrets” or “tricks” revealed in any book. Throw in the term “internet marketing” and you can add another dose of skepticism. But, Todaro threads the needle here and has put together an excellent resource that is not only full of excellent outreach ideas, search engine optimization tactics, and an understanding of pay per click advertising. But, most importantly, Todaro puts all of these methods and tactics in context with a grounded explanation of how the market functions in relation to the tactics and tools.

    For me, this was key. Understanding the market relationship to the tools and not solely a step-by-step prescription was huge. I didn’t want a panacea, but an understanding of how to use these tools to help catapult my reach in my market niche. Todaro nailed it.

    Mr. Todaro presents sound techniques and strategies to driving internet traffic to your website. The author really gets the reader thinking about maximizing resources and putting a plan in motion.

    With so many books on “Internet Marketing”, one can feel overwhelmed with what to choose or where to start. A good start would be this book as it overviews everything you need to know about today’s resources, techniques, and strategies. If you want learn about Viral Marketing, Blogging, Search Engine Optimization, Pay-per-click, Email marketing, Content Management, etc., definitely read this book. With such an array of topics to cover, the author does a fine job of making things simple and practical.

    There is some really good information in the first chapter regarding “Hitting Critical Mass” that is an eye opener. The author states, “Internet marketing has not yet reached critical mass, and that is one of the most important reasons for reading this book. At present time, approximately 100 million people engage in e-commerce activities per year. In the next 10 or 15 years, that number will reach more than 800 million users per year, crushing into 10 percent of the market and then, as predicted, climbing to 90 percent in a frantic way.” With this impending rush of web based business, it is important to gain a good foundation in Internet Marketing now. To start, read this book.
